I don't understand either well enough to say, but I find it intriguing because most of the people I've encountered who are into Deleuze are on the left, or at least consider themselves to be.
Badiou of course described D&G's rhizomatic politics as "the fascism of the potato" back in the day, but his was one of those very expansive definitions of "fascism".
