I read that mammoth Paul Haggis/New Yorker article the other day, prompted by a piece on Gawker about Scientologists labouring on gifts & luxuries for Tom Cruise for a meager wage. Gawker's move to a shitty new layout seems to be causing problems with hotlinking to stories but hopefully this works:
looks like channel 4 are repping scientology now, with those mini shows-between-shows that no-one really notices but probably watches anyway. a little sinister maybe..

Hmm, they're not all pro-Sc'ly, but it looks like 4/7 of them are. :slanted: Doesn't help that the chief exec of the Mental Health Foundation sounds like an absolute weirdo while CoS PR is notoriously slick.
But we all know C4 doesn't shy away from 'controversy' - remember that infamous 'anti-warmist' programme they had about climate change a couple of years ago?
yes I remember that, didn't watch it though but remember hearing about it being full of a load of nonsense and inaccurate data, as if all the doubters needed "science" to affirm their beliefs, pretty dubious.
