I had a flash of insight recently that until you're in your mid-late 30s you think you'll never turn into your dad because you only knew your dad when he was in his mid-late 30s/40s. Then you reach that age when you first knew your dad and you realise you are your dad.

This is a tune I feel I should hate just from looking at how he’s dressed on the cover, but I don’t. I really don’t. Admittedly the snare’s far too intrusive, particularly for a member of a band regularly praised for the quality of their sound, but other than that… The only downside is it makes me feel like a middle-aged man who tucks his shirt into his trousers.

As far as I’m concerned, it could go on forever. Immaculate. Also one of the few people to play an entire Boiler Room set wearing a rucksack.

I don't recognise the Morricone sample. That's really good though, until precisely 1.37, the rest is inexcusable.

This sounds very Herbert to me. I like this sound, but I could never be bothered to dig into it. I like this one a lot, though.
