I was on Google Music for years—they let you upload 50k tracks free, which meant streaming my library on mobile. Unfortunately I got into the sloppy habit of giving up torrents and hard files for the one-click "Add to library" of a streaming service, and now, with Google Play shutting down for good, I'm homeless and with half my library about to be lost. I want to do it right this time around, something more sustainable.
Tempted to go back to Foobar2k or something comparable, but then I gotta get selective about what's sync'd on the phone. Or, I could use a streaming service for mobile listening, and keep hard copies separate, but then I have two libraries, constantly out of sync and keeping separate playlists/stats!
It's quite the dilemma, I've been brooding for months and can't get myself to act in any one direction.
