I was in Mexico city. Was a fun time, probably second only to new york in terms of north american cities and it could be close

I've never left the country properly before, so this could just be an everywhere but america observation, but it was fun too see remnants of culture persist after thousands of years

I also allegedly slapped the belly of an iguana named Maria. Presumably this occurred before the water poisoning.

E.g. I went to a tattoo shop where the artists are definitively 'mexican' without being cheap with the imagery

They also do potatoes differently down here. Distinct taste from American potatoes

an ex from way back moved to the country to teach and eventually stayed

she ended up doing a ritual with a dose of mushrooms and a healer for an issue best left out and states ever since the memories rarely surface
