Do you think that him aligning himself with (or being aligned with) these right-wing grifters/nutjobs/cunts — who probably think a lot of the outrageous things he's saying but can't say them out loud without being deplatformed — is good or bad for them?
I was sort of thinking it's good that the most prominent person they can find who agrees with them is somebody who's clearly mentally ill because it spotlights the lunacy of their ideas, but equally you could say that it makes them appear relatively sane by contrast (everyone's observed "if you're making Alex Jones look normal...") that might help legitimise them as the voice of racist reason.
This is all to leave aside the disturbing and depressing spectacle of somebody completely losing their mind in public without anything to stop them spiralling.
