Everyone seems to think Flick is doing a good job. What I don't get is one minute they don't have enough money to register the players they already have, next they're trying to sign TAA for who knows how much?

Isn't it Real who are trying to sign him? The financial situation seems pretty dire yes. They are selling out of their future revenue to make ends meet. Don't think they'll be making any marquee signings in the near future.

I thought Real had dropped out of the race and Barcelona had replaced them.

Leyton goal v City today isn’t available yet but rare to see against such league-difference positioned teams

45 yards? Think he meant it

the super bowl is tomorrow.... eagles vs chiefs.... wow.... i will be wathinga dn rooting for philly eagles

Tom Brady is one of the owners of Birmingham City FC but he missed the game today cos he's gotta commentate on some NFL game tomorrow or something. If that is half as entertaining as watching the Toon finally overpower Brum today I'll eat my hat.

Game had everything, a goal for the underdog in the opening seconds, an unbelievable volley and save (seriously the technique for that volley and the one-handed save after it was deflected was football at the highest imaginable level) that could have made it 2-0, a disputed equalizer and then after the Geordies took the lead and it felt over an equaliser that was struck so hard it almost went through the net...

And then it was half-time.
Second half was filled with aggro and injuries and stuff I loved it.

I hardly ever watch (american) football, but I sometimes make an exception for the super bowl.
I don't have a dog in the fight, but I take it as a sign that it falls on my birthday year (pretty sure that's a first).

I'm guessing the kid's pretty happy.
Philly had a 24-0 lead after the first half so I pretty much tuned out after that since it was getting kind of impossible at that point, and I didn't really care either way.
maybe should have given it a chance, but the likelihood of being another patriots/falcons was pretty low and I actually cared about that game.

anyway, back to proper football :p
