Can turn naughty
Never keep up with NBA stuff now, but the Hornets were the first team I ever cared about due to playing NBA JAM on the SNES. They were one of the best teams. Had a full Larry Johnson 2 away kit in purple because a friend went to Orlando one summer and brought it back for me. Was obv expecting the classic teal tho, the cunt. Should have specified. Still get a pang of frustration when thinking about that to this day. The purple was fkn dope, looking back tho.

Anyway, seem to remember something years ago about The Hornets not even being in the city of Charlotte anymore and they kinda fizzled, so I lost even more interest.

That was until now:

Surprised you don't hear more about this guy. Any of the dudes have any light to shed on this fella? And The Hornets?

Those were the days. Cool that Ball is playing Bogues' number.

Here's something I want to know, do specific skills or tricks or dummies they use to get past someone have names? Like in football you got... I dunno... flip-flap/elastico, you got Cruyff turn and, er, hocus pocus etc

So he looks like he's going one way and starts that movement - bit like elastico in that respect - but then whips it across the body and changes hands and goes the other way?
The through the legs stuff before that is not part of the move right?

I think there might be more tricks based around passing and dunking than there are around dribbling. You get people doing behind-the-back passes, through-the-legs, no-look passes, and there are different dunks, two-handed, one-handed, through-the-legs, windmill, etc.

But there gotta be more ways of beating people, there gotta be.

Pass through your legs or through the opposition players legs?

There aren't really. You can cross them up, feint, sprint past them, muscle them out of the way, take a shot or just pass the ball.
