basically I'll have to work until I'm 90 to afford this, but then I could supply you with the trippiest dubbiest sounds

room for 3 send / return fx units
4 mic or dub siren
2 turntables

plus cd or laptop

5 way speaker output

that little white square on the bottom right is the digital display where you configure the crossover points like a real SOUNDBWOY

i don't wanna say do it or don't do it 'cause I probably shouldn't be advising on a big expenditure

and i need to get some sleep.......................................

yeah, I can only dream, I probably don't really need an overpowered reggae preamp

I can barely control my 4 way preamp with 10 knobs

I request more with (only) slightly lower levels of fx

well I request more with (only) much higher levels of fx

I'll have to buy some bottles of rum...

I was extremely drunk on the first test ( and the second ) and the dub siren was going through a space echo clone which was being a bit unpredictable with volume and feedback levels but maybe that was just me turning knobs with no subtlety

@william_kent what's your choice of spiced rum? I liked Kraken when coming to the Fat Walrus in New Cross, it had a time of being quite affordable (4 for a double rum and ginger for students), will need to investigate if that's still the case. If the bar is even still running ofc.

I find Kraken leaves me with a slight headache the following day so, although I will drink it, I can't fully recommend it

I tend to drink "dark rums", but this is my preferred spiced rum

Scotland's first rum distillery, producing heavily spiced rum, using bespoke equipment and the finest molasses. We are very excited to get this. It has lots of peppercorn notes, chilli, BBQ sauce, and fruity notes.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Sweet & sour pork, peppercorn and balsamic vinegar.

Palate – Chewy ginger notes, more peppercorn, chilli, plum and raisin.

My tasting notes: cough syrup
