It's fascinating to be on the other side of it, to see people trying to work out whether you're serious or not. I kept leaving comments in all caps on one of the footy subreddits like HAHA! THAT'S WHAT THIS BEAUTIFUL GAME'S ALL ABOUT, BABY! KEEP THE FAITH, SON! and had people asking if I was drunk, having a stroke, telling me to fuck off etc.

When I was on fuckedcompany forum an army of trolls was despatched to the stormfront nationalist forum, to disrupt and discourage. Sadly, it backfired, stormfront counterattacked, followed the stragglers and colonised fuckedco. Could happen here.

one day I pretended to be a doctor, dressed up all in white and draped a stephoscope round my neck and i told this woman she was preganant and she looked so happy "o my god thats wonderful' and i waited two beats, looked grave and said, im terribly sorry to have to tell you this but its terribly deformed, its basically a mutant. you should have seen her face LMAO
It's already begun!

Just to be clear the puffin name calling was cringworthily affectionate and the spirit was romantic not vengeful. Before you cancel me

In non-legal news, a man in Australia has pranked his ex-girlfriend by putting up posters for a "Chewbacca roaring competition" with her phone number on it.
The posters asked people to call the number and impersonate Chewbacca, stating that the best impression would win $100. The man's ex-girlfriend, Jessica Sewell, was inundated with voice messages on her phone from hopeful strangers growling like a Wookiee.
"All he had to do was be mature and say 'I don't love you anymore, I want to move on'," said Sewell.

A skate company did something like this to one of their riders. They put out an ad in the mags etc with his mobile number in it without telling him, so he got bombarded with calls from people like "Uh, is this... ?" and had no idea why.

Why did their guy's number in an ad? Was it a joke or an accident? Did they say it was his number or what?

It was a joke. They just thought it was funny. Probably generated more publicity than a normal ad too. And yeah, it was one of his ads.
