Well, rather flatteringly, I got contacted out of the blue by someone from the label who'd heard it on SoundCloud.

Let's hope so. I wouldn't say it's one of my more banging tunes, really, but a lot of my most successful ones feature samples, which probably makes them unattractive to a label.

There seemed to be only a very short clip on the website so I couldn't get much idea of the tune.

Do you mind if I ask how it works? It's file only I guess so there is no outlay in terms of pressing it or anything. I assume they don't pay anything up front, so is it really a case of they advertise it for you by listing it as for sale on every website and/or shop that sells their stuff and every time someone buys one you get a cut and so do they?
