Poetry in translation/reading in other languages

I liked these two longer ones as well, although the translation seems iffy in places - "hanky-panky"?

Yeah hanky-panky is an awful word isn't it. Very prosey this one, too.

I was looking into another German WW1 poet the other week who I really liked, August Stramm, an expressionist (maybe the first, in poetry?) I'll post some stuff when I get some more time. I was comparing different translations and it's amazing how much they vary.

I have just picked up a parallel text of Apollinaire and I’m having a go at a bit of translation of some of his easier ones. Just completed a version of Mirabeau Bridge. Not as seemingly easy as Verlaine but not as knotty as Rimbaud.
