    new villalobos mix cd

nothing wrong with that. the very fact that we are talking about dance music outside of club opening hours on the internet makes us hideous chin strokers in the eyes of "normals". strokey stroke stroke!

    new villalobos mix cd

the klf mixes were forgettable but chromasul is in a different class, very dancefloor as well as being the usual high quality headphones experience. i've played it out alot and haven't ever seen somone walk away scratching their head...

    Jeff Mills

i'd recommend checking out his 'at first sight' lp - it's pretty good but there's a track on there called 'fantasia' which is just incredible. when i heard it first i would never have guessed it was mills, it's sounds kinda like mr. fingers meets lfo, quite slow for him and very trippy.

i love this album - i've never really played it out much, just home listening. but, i think his uusitalo album has aged better, probably because i got very very sick of force tracks toward the end of its run. data 80... hakan lidbo what the fuck were you on? that shit makes crazy frog sound...

    Pepe Braddock

ark is fantastic! i thought his lp on perlon was okay but apart from a few tracks was not really up to the standard of the alleluyark stuff on circus company (top label!). as for angola, i haven't listened to the pepe braddock mix in ages - i just always stick on the cc mix. so i'll go check...

    Pepe Braddock

the carl craig mix of that is the one for me. very slow and percussive with trademark mental arpeggios appearing haflway in. awesome. but yeah, braddock is the man. deep burnt is just beautiful.

    Reccomend me some techno/house

he's usually quite melodic rather than....bangin' i suppose. his remix of r-rash on exzakt is probably the toughest thing he's done. i'd say his best stuff is on his own cadenza label and the 12" he did on perlon with mathew jonson. but i like most of his music alot.

which better: Hafler Trio or Nurse With Wound?

the two halfler/autechre collabs are excellent - a bit pricey 'cos of the packaging - but well worth checking out. shipwreck radio by nww is fantastic also. i couldn't really decide who i prefer though.
