100% agree. think it's cos he's a bit older ennit. he does it a lot rawer too, just like all of his tunes. could be soul, could be black sabbath, could be kraftwerk, could be a tv theme. everything gets put in the blender and comes out raw as hell the way he samples it. in terms of other stuff...

don't think i've ever heard a chainsaw sound i didn't like mate tbh ;) too many soul samples banging about in footwork tunes these days imo. nothing wrong with that, but you can definitely get too much of a good thing.

yea, that's why it's sick. hard as nails + lo-fi footwork - sounds like a classic hardcore formula to me! like "the power" by young smoke, or dj roc playing around with dubstep sounds. definitely a really good thing for ppl to do. https://soundcloud.com/djroc-1/warp-time
