seems most of his fans are in the visual arts (janet cardiff, Inventory etc.)

Acid Folk/Freak Folk whatever seems to be THE Manchester scene (twisted nerve/red deer club/dulcimer bar /gardensticks etc etc) is this just Manchester or the U.K in general?

there's a throbbing gristle(mainly Peter Christopherson i expect) live track (cabaret voltaire) that uses 2 samples/loops...the first is a prisoner describing his swallowing complusion (pica?) the other????

Informed by a recent listening to (a tape of a VCR) the soundtrack of The Bogie Man, I’ve been noticing that quite a few cheapo horror films have an electronic noise/synth soundtrack (im talking $2 synths here not John Carpener)- I suppose the model for this is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre...
