For the ones liking big bassline tunes though, Marcus Nasty has a new label releasing the first EP next month, tunes by Eastwood, Naughty Raver, Sunday Roast & Jook 10: By the way, I'm back to Sub Fm tonight, 10-12 UK Time, if you wanna hear the balance I'm talking about :D

But that's a bit arbitrary isn't it? I mean, if you wanna be that negative you could pick any other Shay & Sinista track like say "Remember The Edge" or that "Back To The House" new one and say it's all going piano house. Or something equally silly like picking a random vocal tune and say it's...

lol are you implying that in 5 yearsUK Funky might be reduced to wobble tear-out tunes? cause if that's it I'm pretty sure it won't...

yeah the Casanova Remix is ace. I'm well into his new tune with Jada Pearl too, out in a couple weeks: Wookie was on Scratcha's show a couple of weeks back and he played a couple of new bits of his that sounded pretty amazing!

That LR Groove EP is fantastic! gotta big up Soupu Music as they seem to be the only ones consistently releasing this kind of music as a proper label (I mean, not a producer getting his own stuff out there, but a label in the traditional way). Bit of a curious thing as it is an Italian label...

Personally I enjoy Petchy & Marcus' sets as much as ever, but yeah I get what you mean, the Devine crew just got that special sound that makes every one of their shows like a proper event. But you got other good radio show's like Smoove Kriminal or LR Groove & Eastwood on Deja, Carnao or...

browsing through Tim's list I saw Dj Naughty's 5th Gear as an unreleased, and I thought I'd point out the mp3 shop on his web as maybe some of you didn't notice it before. It hasn't been updated in 2 years, but you can get that one and some of his older tunes there...

I don't necessarily see that much similarities with grime, yes it's pirate radio and there are mc's, but I see more to it than that... You know, I understand sometimes when I hear a familiar element it clouds my judgement on it or makes me ignore other things, but there is a lot more happening...

Still doesn't have that nervous one with the organ stabs that they refer to as "House Girls Dubplate Mix" that Petchy always plays... but even with that it's awesome news that they're putting out all these tunes!

    Dubstep

I am actually looking forward to that Coki release a lot, if only for nostalgic purposes. When I heard he was gonna include "Intergalactic Dub" made me go back and listen to a lot of old dubstep sets, and it reminded me of how good this music was a few years ago. Plus, it's gonna have that "Old...

    RIP Technics 1200/1210

I have one of those at home and never had that problem. The feeling of it is pretty shitty though, and it wont read hi quality mp3's or SD cards even though it's supposed to (and it comes with a list of compatible cards, none of which works). I got it 2nd hand and very cheap, so I can't complain...

Hey, sorry Tom, I know you do, and didn't mean to undermine Fact or anything like that. I meant the perspective of someone who only listen to the kind of stuff that's mostly written about on Fact, be it because that's the stuff whith more records out or whatever other reason, didn't mean it to...
