    Witness the Fitness

I found Sulek's actual videos a bit boring. Once you've marvelled at his size, his content is quite tame, which I guess is part of why he's successful - "ordinary guy" vibes. I've been enjoying Eddie Abbew on Instagram who is funny the first few times you see him, but then it gets a bit tired...

Wikipedia says he was out in 2015 yearh. It seems a remarkable short time but I guess it was attempted not actual murder.

Also Regents Canal? Regents Canal is Islington is a fucking commuter thoroughfare. Reading David Simons' book Homocide, about the murder squad in Baltimore, the cops frequently comment on how stupid the murderers are. Real banality of evil shit. Same here.

Grime Is The Most Notorious Genre On Earth For This Story ...

Maniac was known to be a very clever man outside of music, extremely mature and a man with a head on his shoulders. I find this really hard to believe. The crime seems so fucking adolescent, real limited horizons shit.

Your Top Three Hip Hop Videos

I think it's weird how this thread doesn't quite pop off like some of the others. I wonder if the video isn't disposable and low tech enough for the works of obscure genius we tend to like? or we're too old? I'm like where's the fucking bizarro rap videos? TikTok must be full of low budget...

Your Top Three Hip Hop Videos

I'm posting this because I watched it over and over in a lapse of my characteristic good taste. It has a narrative structure in a way that just music can't do. And it has DJ Khalid in it.

i would hope my Essex music tastes cut the Warhammer vibes. Which was actually a thing when I got into TOPY and magic, coming from a different place culturally in some ways.

50 Years Later, Is There Anything Left Of Hip Hop?

The article didn't grab me, so I didn't read it all. For me, the main problem with rap currently (which is different from hip hip) is the diversity. There's *so much* it's impossible to keep up with. I think this probably is leading to some great music and artists not finding their audience.

Am I in a parallel universe?

I should add he was deep into acid and psychedelia and saw them as a modern face of that. I respect his taste enough to contemplate that he might have been right but we all have off days.
