He's amazing! I love how he's kind of flipped his sound over and over, with the trg remix and the first soul jazz 12" kind of minimal garage things, blimey and revenue are on a percussive vibe, humber and core sort of technoy etc, and now with the dnb and the pearson sound things which I don't...

funny thing is that if these dj's went for the more american/detroit deep house angle (theo parrish / moodymann etc) you could throw more party pleasing stuff in there, disco, funk, soul things. Makes for good party music

well not as far as Im concerned at least, like ableton and have used it lots. I complained that I feel that people aren't using it to its full potential in live situations and that mixes done on ableton feel stiffer and colder, and that they lack spontaneity, improv and live feel. However none...

also @zhao obviously no one is taking that sort of luddite approach to ableton or other technologies. Im just speaking from personal experience, that my ableton mixes feel stiffer and colder than the ones I do on turntables (they are also, to be fair, better mixed and cleaner...). Still love...

warping is telling ableton how fast the tune is and where the bars start/end, which ableton then uses to control the speed of the song
