    Bollywood Breaks

As i've had so much fun listening to my Bollywood MP3s on my headphones all week i've stuck them all together into one big 14 minute MP3 for you all to enjoy! Here you go! If anybody can recommend any more stuff along these lines (whacked out psychedelic Indian disco) please do! I'd love to...

    Kate Moss

The thing that sticks in my mind from News Of The World is the 'fist sized' pile of cocaine that she got through in one night with Naomi. FIST SIZED! Yuck.

    Bollywood Breaks

Years ago my housemate was chucking them a pile of Bollywood LPs away and I couldn't let him do it, but i've never really sat down and listened to them properly until now. Unfortunately i've just got into eBay (finally!) and the reason i've listened to them was to put MP3s up with the...

who is better: paul mccartney or phil collins?

ARE YOU MAD?! Besides the sheer lunacy comparing Phil Collins to Prince, i'm with Macca all the way, I love his utter guilelessness (?) that I think is the root of most people's hate for him!

The US import vinyl of Charlie Brown Xmas album is usually dirt cheap - sometimes comes with funny 70s stickers on the cover too!

    Whatever happened to 'speed garage'?

There was shootings every time somebody put on a jungle night in the mid 90s!! In fact I can remember wanting to go to a jungle do at the Hacienda in 95 when I was on my summer holiday from university and i'm glad I didn't - it was like a warzone in there apparently!! Once it turned into...

Cover Versions That Mess With The DNA

If you think they're bad you should hear Roger Taylor's original lyrics (there's a fantastic "Making Of One Vision" documentary on Queen DVD 2) they were even more questionable until Freddie changes them!

    Whatever happened to 'speed garage'?

    Whatever happened to 'speed garage'?

There's a Reflex DJ Superstore in Manchester with a massive 'bassline' section (although i've never spent any time checking it out). They're pretty good-ish for grime too - I always check it out when I want to save postage from Uptown and they turn up the goods most of the time...

    new underground resistance is amazing

I've been to see UR 'play live' twice in London - both times were no-shows (DJ only), one of them was in a railway arch in Vauxhall and was half techno-bods and half locals in their 40s and 50s looking for somewhere to have a drink - WELL WEIRD! :)

    Baldelli Tracks

Looks like i've just got an edit it's the brutal bleepiness that hooks you in isn't it? I've been listening to the "Escape From New York" theme quite a bit recently too, for that same proto-techno hit :)
