I don't really get sent anywhere near as much as I used to when we first started. Everyone just does their own thing really. Their own labels, and way of presenting things.
Tend to get things in their finished form, rather than to check out and give feedback which is a shame really as I miss...
Kids are still MCing up and down the country I've seen it. Believe it or not they are not all sitting alone making House music.

Yes it needs new MCs. I was saying that back in 2009 too, hence the focus on getting the music into a state were it wasn't basically essential to hear MCs on top to enjoy it.
There aren't many ways to cultivate and showcase new talent...

From a Grime perspective so many doors are actually locked shut without the help of some of these organisations helping is get through. Like BBK winning culture clash at Wembley Stadium, or Boiler Room producing great stuff, better than I'd say SBTV or Grime Daily have...
I think when you have seen a DJ loads of times and they still amaze you that makes a great DJ really.
Picking out an occasion when a particular DJ smacked it doesn't mean as much.
Go to one of DJ EZ's all night sets if you doubt him.
Saw him do 10 hours at Fabric in 2012 and it was deep.
The reason why people like me prefer DJ EZ to most other Garage DJs is because most of the others lean on contemporary house when playing out now whereas EZ gets into the Grime heavy...
