the world's best dancehall thread ever

Mad Instruments Riddim Driven CD had 3 less tracks than the LP version. I only own one Riddim Driven album, Time Travel. That's only one LP but the CD had the same 10 tracks.

VP LP tracklistings A quick query... does anyone know a website which lists both the CD and double LP tracklistings for VP Riddim Driven albums? I've put my name down for a Stepz 12" but don't know if it has any extra tracks than the CD version. 16 tracks seems a little odd for a double LP.

Is it slow because it's a big file or cuz the speed is slow? I usually get the maximum I can from my site. I have no idea how to check bandwidth or how much domain space I have. Bought it through a middle man =/

and Buy Out (Like Glue), Grindin and mighty Bookshelf (Deport Them). When the drawl known as Object Oriented Programming ends I'll run home and blast Katana. I think I heard Bounty's track on 1Xtra last night (I was in another room). Does it go "billilililing bilililing"?

I only got the Katana last night. What cuts should I stick on repeat? Chaka Chaka....hahaha... it took me a few listens but it's grown on me. Purely for comedic purposes. Hardly something I can shout "pull up" at. Beenie rides this surprisingly well. I got two versions of Military actually, one...

Kartel's Correction is definately my favourite on Stepz. I like how Renaissance skipped up the rhythm just for him, even after all the beef they were having. Tips...hmm... Viagra Dose rhythm by Big Yard. Out now on vinyl and a lazy but complete mix is on my site if you're curious. Ce'cile's...

what are your favourite grime slang terms?

"I'll bring armshouse to ya mum's house." That made me laugh first time I heard it. November 8th, Forward full retail on Relentless. Cop that disc.

what are your favourite grime slang terms?

I tihink it's Alm's House but I'm not exactly sure what it means (Capleton's album "Alm's House"). I won't embarrass myself with a poor guess.

what are your favourite grime slang terms?

Nang slang 'Road' is good, I intend to use it more. I don't like 'nang' (meaning either good or bad, I've heard it in both contexts). I rarely use 'dawg' or 'blood', mostly because the majority of my friends would laugh at me for saying it. Would refering to Jamaica as 'JA' be considered...

Does the future of Music lie with the Midi Interface?

I've had almost minimal experience with MIDI in a professional environment. CreativeLab's SoundFont technology was good fun, replacing the soundcard's onboard GeneralMIDI wavetable with a custom made bank. Final Fantasy VII used MIDI throughout the game (on PC) so I built my own SoundFont with...

    Hot RnB

Kopa Nina Sky were the first to voice on Black Chiney's Kopa rhythm. Couple of other artists (Kartel, Ele, Notch, Capleton) musta heard it and jumped on. I prefer the Nina Sky remix with Baby Cham, purely because of his "Eeeeeh!". EDIT: Just heard that grimey RnB track I mentioned. Ashanti...

    Hot RnB

Nina Sky That Nina Sky track is a great example of what's going on in vocal dancehall. More and more dancehall rhythms are being voiced by artists in a RnB style. At first I wasa little skeptical whether dancehall fans would absorb it but now I'm sure that it's a good look. Hearing the usual...
