well yeah, depends what you're looking for i suppose. pretty much all the 'big' nights at 'proper' venues have flyers and some of the squat stuff does, all in record shops. most of the small stuff is just word of mouth/a facebook events page or occasionally homemade flyers
R&S is seriously on point right now, I'm not old enough to appreciate the original manifestation of the label, though I've dug out a good section of the old stuff, but the relaunch (has it been a 'relaunch'?) seems to be putting out some great records
anyone hear benga and skream tonight? caught the last half an hour. not really my stuff at all but they had pokes with them and he was so good. i love to hear people having a great time on the radio and they seemed to be having the best time ever
I'm in Poplar and Limehouse, Respect people are everywhere. My mate was in the lift up to his flat yesterday and 3 guys asked him who he was voting for and invited him to their flat so they could persuade him to vote Respect. Very creepy.
I think she's an amazing dj, has a real knack for finding tunes that really compliment each other, stuff that you think would really clash she makes work. I have no idea how she does it but it sounds fucking amazing

Yeah I'd be a bit peeved. I can't that compare to what he plays in the UK though cos I haven't seen him over here unfortunately. I personally prefer it when DJs don't play many of their own tunes in sets unless they're unreleased/dubplates.
from his twitter:
It always good when you can drop yesteryear tunes in your set and the crow appreciate it. Over here in the US i have that freedom!

i know what you mean, i liked the intro and i would have liked to stay for some of the other stuff but the first 10 minutes were all midrange wobblers and i was pretty tired so i left.
Also BM saturday looks great
yeah i've been wanting to hear that james blake tune out for time. Ben ufo set was great as expected, really wish he'd played that new ramadanman bit though, that 'work them' thing. only caught a bit of scratcha, what was that thing with bits of natty in it mixed with that tune that oneman's...

I love vinyl and I'm not sure i could ever see myself completely digitise. However it's getting harder and harder to play in clubs with. Last night I played out at a pretty premier east london club, one of the tonearms on the right 1210 was broken and kept skipping to the point where I had to...
