nah it doesn't atall sound like that, but it's a moist tune..no bite. same as reverse skydiving. edit* lol at thinking i judge music based on what it sounds like on lappy speakers..

tbh that's pretty meh... too much airy fairy not enough sleeze imo...i hope everyone's not gonna go down that reverse skydiving route.

Shuffling / House Music / Cutting Shapes

i think some of the line-ups i see could be cut down a tad u know...maybe only have 2 dj's who are on all night, rather than 6 all go for an hour each.

Comin in with the mix and blend

you're missing the point he's making I think, more to do with the deep house thing whereby it's kick kick kick, kick clap kick clap, kick hi clap, kick hi clap, tbh that is pretty dull unless done really well

    Old School Hardware

I also managed to pick up this at the back end of last year. It's really nice, got some wicked sounds on it. £40 too, what a bargain. Having trouble editing the patches though, as they've discontinued the ipad app that could edit this & other such FM synths, and I can't seem to find out to do...

that RX5 looks really nice, kinda like this. Picked it up from some Australian guy who never used to have a drummer in his band. Amazing machine, the samples are so cool.

    Vinyl dying (for DJ's)

@viktorvaughn yh pretty much. Most people don't give a f*ck really. Pretty mad that some DJ's also think that 128kpbs vinyl rips are acceptable to play out, but fuck itttt, convenience init!!!

    Vinyl dying (for DJ's)

if u wana just do ur thing @ home n sit back whilst traktor does it for you, (because really you just want to listen to a playlist of tunes you selected), then yea it's great init.

    Vinyl dying (for DJ's)

pretty much, guys dont even need to bring headphones, u look at the screen and make sure the bit where it analyses the track on soundwaves match up.. if it doesn't u press a button until it does, so no, no need for headphones if u know the tunes

    Vinyl dying (for DJ's)

traktor, it allows u to sync based on the bpm

    Vinyl dying (for DJ's)

I would encourage the use if I thought it brought about better DJ'ing, better sound etc...so far all I've seen is pricks who think they're r/hawtin jerking they're elbows every 20 seconds whilst drowning the mix in that echo/delay effect. How the fuck is that better?

    Vinyl dying (for DJ's)

I dunno..cause Dj’ing is actually enjoyable? What the fuck is engaging about pressing a couple of buttons n listening to a crystal clear mix as a result? If that does move you then fine init, traktor’s served it’s purpose. Might aswell go to the next step & remove the human altogether init...
