night dreams is fucked up and hallucinatory and worth a watch but doesn't touch the amazing trippy tension - and simultaneously successful erotica - of cafe flesh imo. i haven't been able to track down any of his other stuff though.
this is really beautiful, it reminded me of 'russian ark' too. i watched the first hour and then started falling asleep, though i don't think that's a bad thing at all. i'll watch more tonight.

i agree (he does cite my grimes interview though!). also it kind of seems like he leads in from a dance angle and then focuses on pop musicians...most recent big dance releases are pretty deep/minimal. but then i guess part of his whole thing is not liking house/techno.
