    Ms Dynamite LP

This music is horse shit. Comparing her to Lauryn Hill is a joke. Lauryn is a better rapper AND a better singer. Seriously, who thought these tracks would sell? This music is all overproduced fluff. There's not even a really hook or drive to any of these songs. "Boo!" was a jam, though.

    MIA's Honda Advert!

I dunno, in a way I agree with you, but I think this also smacks of being a tad too touchy-feely for me. So she can talk about this to big up herself, but nobody can respond to it and use it in a critique of her? The mud hut thing was obviously an off-the-cuff joke that I, personally, thought...

Pretty funny review of a Prefuse 73 gig

Haha.. I/O. I played at that place in like February at some wanky show with Kool Keith and Otto von Schirach and the dude at the door even tried to give me attitude. Such a weird spot-- a club with an outdoor patio right in the middle of a residential section of a shitty neighborhood.

best pop song of the summer?

The show with DJ Funk? Anyway, if I had to pick one summer jam from this year, I think I'd have to settle on "Still Tippin"

"Now that's what I call Grime" track listing suggestions

General Levy alongside the M-Beat, the world is in trouble! I know "Incredible" went Top 10, not sure if it ever hit #1. "Oi!" hit #8, right?

"Now that's what I call Grime" track listing suggestions

For the kickoff of our new grime monthly I did a sort of "grime anthems" set, since the majority of people around here aren't anywhere near familiar with the genre other than a little bit of Dizzee or whatever. Anyway, my tracklist: Roll Deep - When I'm 'Ere Lethal B - Pow! Wiley - Eskimo...

Portishead 'Dummy' - has it aged well?

Haha, it's hilarious that you say that. I hated Bob Marley for years because of that... Anyway, the Portishead albums are great, even in retrospect-- I gotta say Live is always the one I found myself listening to the most, honestly-- but it's true that so much "trip hop" was utter crap. I do...
