Who ever said any of this meant anything?
Let's just drop the whole wonKy thing all together, what a stupid fucking word.
Wonky means nothing, this is true.
There's plenty of music pointing in the right direction right now though(what ever direction that ends up being)
Hyperdub has...
Yeah it's MySpace Ba$$.
Fuck Ketamine, this music stems from a passionate love of bongs, blunts and beats.

I have to admit I still have not finished 2666. The second book was an excellent piece of literature for sure, but also very exhausting and demoralizing. So much so I took about a month break before I started "The part about Archimboldi"
The third book is on a totally different tip, reminds me...
SOMEONE SAYS "IS THIS OKAY" YOU SAY?
Southside – Dj Screw
WHAT WOULD BEST DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONALITY?
Afrikaloo – Duke Lumumba
WHAT DO YOU LIKE IN A GUY/GIRL?
From the Moon – The News
WHAT IS YOUR LIFE'S PURPOSE?
Freeze - LFO
WHAT IS YOUR MOTTO?
Koisun Ching – The Son of P.M.

honestly everything i've ever heard of this stuff was from that WOEBOT post. I've still only heard about half of them.
This is just crazy, crazy music. Wild grooves, absurd vocals, colors going in every direction...epic shit. Im so glad I don't know any of the lyrics to any of these songs...
Coming down from a peak(on acid) is when I most enjoy my music. For some reason pop/dance music scares the shit out of me when i'm tripping. Hip-Hop can be good though...
I most enjoy being soothed/transported, mostly through jazz and/or epic heavy psychedelic jams.
Especially this
which I...
Im all about DJ Spinn right now. His 'Juke Trax Online' series is pretty ace.
Check, 'Box me in(Remix)', 'Dumb High', 'What you workin wit', 'Turn My Shit up'
this shit is illllllllllll! thank you dissensus once again.
I do agree it all seemed very pre-programmed except for the final third where there is definitely some live improv. The times I have seen FlyLo live he's been way more engaging than here, going crazy on the mpc and such. I do believe it was also his first real 'performance' since his mom died...
This radio review Posthumous Praise really hits it on the spot.
It is also very true that whenever someone asks me what one of his books is about or why I enjoy him so much, I really come to a loss of words.
I've had friends pick up 2666 and try to read a couple of pages and say
'You know...
Yes, as I said in the 'what are you reading' thread, 2666 is essential reading. I bought the wonderfully constructed 3 volume paperback set, much easier to handle than a daunting 900+ page tome.
Has it not been published in the UK yet?
2666
This book has been a rewarding struggle. Certainly my favorite author of the past few years, its a shame Bolano had to pass. But this is quite the last will and testament.
An Epic literary achievement.
or do you mean the song with the fuzzy drum track?
In which case its an untitled song by a group called MHE who there isn't much about online. I just know they're a couple of dudes that are friends with FlyLo and Gaslamp etc.
