that is what Nas does good - but so rarely,
when he ups the tempo and uses that quicker flow - sounds dope, nice beat too
his slower stuff just goes way off target . . . .
you have to admit though, with the exception of some lesser known more abstract rappers, that the subject matter of most hip-hop has been somewhat generic for the last 10 years+
most of the heads harping on about illmatic etc found that music so amazing as its was a new take on things, there...
some of the YT comments are hilarious -
"Why do people keep going on about her lips? If they were wrapped round your cock you wouldn't complain! So enjoy the music or comment on a Cher Lloyd video!
made me chuckle on a friday afternoon

This tune was the turning point for me,
I remember being at carnival - maybe 99 or 2000 and Clarkee or someone dropped it and the crowd went mad and I was thinking "uurgh, I dont like this at all
it went all down hill from there . . . .
Boris has got no answers for this man,
Liveleak is great for the most recent 'citizen journalism' but it is a US site and there a LOT of crazy right-wingers on there (in the comments sections)
I'm not surprised - but it doesnt mean he didnt draw for his gun though?
surely armed police should have shoulder cams/helmet cams to show transparency in this sort of volatile situation?
that's what I can see - manz jus want new creps innit?
fuck paying for it if you can get it for free free right?
from what I can see that is the attitude/reasoning of 99% of the 'trouble makers'
the arson is the worst bit - its the lives at risk that troubles me
I dont care if peeps want new...

Kemi & Storm with Goldie '96
I always loved how Kemistry & Storm would play more off the wall b-sides but still have a funk/groove in there sets - great
