that mad scratcha tune with the 8bar switchup and triplet drum rolls (as heard at the end of his fact mix) absolutely DESTROYED on the pp system as well... did hear right when someone said it was coming out on hyperdub?? fantastic news if so.

both the hyperdub5 12"s so far have been pretty dry IMO and i speak as someone who has already preordered the whole saga :slanted: (i also speak as someone who loves off joker to an almost unsavoury degree ftr)

Thank you Ory! and THANK YOU Blackdown for summing up my thoughts exactly! He really does come across as an arrogant little twat - compare it to the way Tinchy conducts himself when he is one person who could be forgiven for being pretty gassed up at this point...

great cd, really took me by surprise - but what's the 2-step track chipmunk's freestyling over/ruining on track 3???? it's on the tip of my tongue and is driving me insane!!! like the use of garage stuff throughout - say what you will about uninventive use of old garage in new sets and blah...

I honestly thought Rustie was Joker's age. Makes me feel better to learn that's not the case - one less ludicrously talented teenager to be obscenely jealous of Rustie and HudMo both seriously look about seven years old though. must be something in the water/munchy boxes over in Glasgow.

most places alcohol licenses are shortened on sundays innit - last orders at 10:30 and all that. maybe 'curfew' is the wrong word but you know what i mean. i know fwd has gone overtime a couple of times since it moved to sunday but, in general, police don't mess about when it comes to "urban"...

^police shut it down, supposedly as they'd gotten wind that fwd intended to go past the 1am curfew, although dunno if that's accurate - i had left by that point. couldn't handle the sweat anymore!

the problem is extinguished: outtakes was released six years ago and he's been nothing but terrible since then. has put out plenty of music but it's all uniformly shite, hard to mount a comeback when you're strapped with pure mediocrity. utter shame as those first three prefuse records are...

    Animal Collective

I've been mixing 'summertime clothes' out of various UKG songs in every set i've played since i got the album - so pretty excited to hear that not one not two but THREE producers i have big love for have done remixes. can't wait to hear 'em.

I'm all about the Wiley album personally. Really really excited at the prospect of finally having a good quality version of "Kicked Out The Game" cos I love that track. "I'm colder alie, too cold for them/alie them man ain't cold, they are speng" :D...

    My Name Is Earl

I highly recommend "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" for fans of Arrested Development etc. General premise is four utter, utter cunts running a bar and ruining other peoples lives in various ways. Easily one of the funniest things left on TV.
