yeah, cool out is definitely one of my favourite hyperdub 12"s - pretty much exclusively for the 2 remixes though. I wouldn't have had the quarta 330 or black sun releases on there. I don't really get the appeal of quarta 330 at all. The rustie spliff dub mix and takeover dub might've been worth...

which 3? I think it was a bit Kode 9 heavy in honesty... I quite like those fact articles but the writing for the top 10 aphex twin was really horrible at times

Just bought officer/mood dub for £10. Fucking over the moon. Does anyone find it staggering the amount of people who are into dubstep but have never heard of digital mystikz or loefah. Just started uni and it's crazy speaking to people about dubstep as it's just something so different to them...

I haven't listened to it in full properly but the 3 or 4 tunes and sampler I've heard I find kinda nasty sounding. I find it kinda tacky and irritating in a way. I've always thought his stuff has a kinda grating digital element to it, although Rustie has this a bit - I find his tunes more...

cheers man, how would he get the a capella's to a tune like that though? @ computer rock. Shack's set at fwd was a mix of old and new stuff, he was playing a different version of new dawn which killed it, it had that mad percussion but without the abrasive noise bit which I'm not so keen on...

how do you mean? are you talking about online magazine things, or something purely for promotions? I've always thought fact is one of the better ones going at the moment

isn't the journalist actually criticising it? vainglorious and nightmare don't sound too positive to me. not properly heard the album yet but I've really disliked everything I've heard from it bar zooOooOoom

for sure. sometimes I thought the skull disco stuff sounded a bit rigid and kinda dull at times, although it did love pretty much all of it. his new stuff takes it up a few notches in atmosphere and changeups which his old stuff didn't have quite so much. I think his stuff works really well...

ha, I couldn't think the opposite anymore. his mary anne hobbs mix and live sets I've seen have been my favourite things I've heard over the last few years by quite some distance. on a different planet

had no idea... only ever heard the as I am remix by Todd Edwards... where should I grab a mix from? Alex - it's worth checking out the MAH show from time to time, she gets some amazing mixes and dubs occasionally and the sound quality is always amazing. Grab the latest one with the Shackleton...

I think you're probably right about him cutting up syllables and making up his own words - it would be what's behind that really disjointed alien like sound to most of the vocals. Me and my mates have spent enough time guessing the intro to shell of light, sounds a bit like 'plimsole' to me

ah, I've got that one that was put up on dsf actually not listened to it yet though dumbly enough. Does anyone know what happened to task at all? Miss hearing his voice on the radio. Blackdown, ahem....

alex, could you upload that b2b loefah set man - would love it. also benjy any chance of that 2004 one as well? I always revisit old youngsta sets. coki had nuff tunes from around 2006 that never got released as well... gumdrops - Hatcha has been playing a lot of old loefah beats recently I...

yeah, it aint thief in da night. it's a tune i've only heard on this show, kills it. there was a tune I heard Coki play at DMZ exodus a while back as well on the same dubby tip that was so deep that I heard hatcha play on radio once called two...

which ones? Living different and eyez seem to be suggested? Favourite golden era unreleased bits: Coki's dubby tunes like serious and the one before glamma on the kode 9/Wiley show. Anyone got an ID on that? Loefah - Boiler Suit Mala - Jah Power, Maintain thru the Madness, Dun Stinky...
