And there will be a Ruff Sqwad instrumental CD when I get the masters from them.... which could be anytime from tomorrow to next year.
Artists are still going on radio for the sake of going on radio. Deejays are bringing them on to drop "excloosives" rather than to work towards any specific project. There's been hardly any marketing behind Guns n Roses 2 for example.
No wonder the artists sound unsure, they haven't got a firm...

You should listen more clearly
People are not coming on my show to promote their mix cd unless they can present me a finished shop ready copy of it. I spent 6 months promoting forthcoming mix cds which never materialised, and that hurts the scene.

Prices on flights are hideous.
Thats what stops things happning with any sort of regularity. That and the possible audience is miniscule for anyone who hasnt had an album out.
Ok, let me tell you about outside of London.
We give our records to distributors. The distributors are SUPPOSED to distribute the records for us around the UK, and sometimes beyond.
More often than not a lot of places do not want to have an account with the distributor.
Record shop owners who...
He was doing his grime thing...... on the beats.
Some of them were experiemental hip hop sounding stuff. They didnt have the vibe of Grime. The way dizzee approached and vocalled them were Grime though.
