    Wordsound connected to theAgriculture?

Am I the only person who thinks this stuff is horribly naff? I picked up a few DJ olive affiliated records (cant remeber off teh top of my head) when he was getting regular props in the wire and it never seemed any more than quite hackneyed art bar goatee chillout. Is there some amazing parts of...

    Burial "Untrue"

yeah, i asked the same question a while back and someone close to the hyperdub lot confirmed most had been cleared after the record came out. Personally I don't really have a problem with Elbow winning, they are a decent bunch of lads. I've always enjoyed Guy Garvey's radio show on xfm...

    Grime Freestyling Vs UKHH Freestyling

Without meaning to be insulting I think its a case of eduation and experience. All the UKHH guys you've mentioned have grown up outside the hip hop establishment and are pretty nerdy true schoolers who've been to uni (i think jehst has an english lit degree). Their output tends to be a lot more...

    Neo-Nazi forum hacked

there were 2 massive guys wearing bomber jackets with rather silly looking embroidered suede waistcoats with iron crosses and various gothic scripts similar to those shown above (i dont speak german). Pretty terrifying to look at when you've been up for 2 days but they were actually quite polite

    Funky/London/UK House

sounds a bit blog house, that ;) But in all seriousness, i called emporers new clothes at many times over the last year as people waited for a new interesting music to happen as prophesised in all of the pieces comparing this to the mythical jump from d+b to 2 step of '98 or whatever but i...

    Neo-Nazi forum hacked

i found it really unnerving on a recent trip to berlin how many skinheads in nazi insignia covered waistcoats were on the streets. They did seem to be quite polite to the middle eastern woman serving them coffee though

THE POGUES - the cases for and against

im so glad i saw the popes in a smaller venue, they had spider stacey with them anyway and played most of the pogues back catalogue, ignoring the newer stuff. I cant describe the euphoria after standing round for an hour with all sorts of rumours flyin about to have them take the stage and blast...

THE POGUES - the cases for and against

the pogues are a rare bunch, most other contemporary irish music is either sickly sweet, loaded with murderously sectarian (though i suppose that would interest you zhao from a political social point of view) or goes down a more cringe worthy bluesy celtic rock route. The only ones that stand...
