Of course I think Tim Hecker is accessible, so my standards are obviously a bit unique.

I personally feel that the original album had its weak moments, that it was propped up by the strong material already released on the South London Boroughs EP. This one doesn't seem to have that weakness. Feels more fleshed out. And more immediately accessible IMO.

I'll try and track it down. PWOG making 2-step would probably end up sounding like Toastyboy does nowadays.

I've got some of the stuff some of the members released on ISIS. And a Dogon release, Return of the Space Echo. Wasn't aware there was a garage version of the Key, we are talking like 2-steppy garage here? Thats sounds way too good to actually exist.

I could imagine you could get some serious mileage out of those tracks if you knew how to handle them right, they give me the same feeling as some of Villalobos' stuff. Its like "If I wasn't such a shit DJ, this beat could sound amazing".

My first impression of hearing Rhythms was "This is a DJ tool?" I'm perhaps not getting it. And 23 is plenty old to start appreciating this techno business, wouldn't you say?

I'm too young to have caught them live, I was about 8 or 9 at their peak in 93-94. I've got a copy of Psychick Rhythms sitting next to my turntable right now, I think I like Maenad a little better than that release. Or the Kala mix of Challenge.

Would this be the right place to mention Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia? Cause I'm not sure what kind of music they made, but people called it trance back then. Too deep, too much swing to be anything like what trance is now though.
