Oh you didn't knock Tubby. I'm addressing multiple people at once here.

False Binary. Alchemy is a Science, it's just a Science with a goal and not a path. Tubby and Pablo and Niney and Perry and all the names we can invoke were all working and building off one another as were your Reids and Coxsonnes and the various systems, labels, etc. etc. etc. As stated in...

No that's true because both of these men were good and talented at what they did and Perry is not.

Going through tunes from this thread finally and in death I can rest peacefully knowing you are all mistaking Scratch's genius for that of Augustus and that King Tubby was far better. All the same! Some good tunes here. Just a shame Scratch's real legacy is carnying.

You might v. well be but the truth is I'm not looking to follow any father beyond the one I'm already saddled with and even he is getting exhausting with how desperately he wants me to be Jr. him. Like not all of us are meant to follow in another man's footsteps.

Because "Electronic Dream" is a re-Urbanification of arguably one of the least urban and american forms of techno/house. Unfortunately dance music ate him up instead of us making it move the other way around. Definitely a sacred cow at this point though.

Leftfield praise is terrifying but also ILX is terrifying in general. I also love you had to make yourself more abstract while I made myself more reduced. This is where we defer as well.

We are sacred cows, the founders of this board are sacred cows, the message board ITSELF is rapidly becoming a sacred cow. It's like Ballard's Crystal World or whatever. We're all ever incasing in amber and freezing to death. But we're BRILLIANT.

Were we not sexually incompatible and I not kind of only interested in dance music as it can eventually relate back to rap? We'd be an unstoppable pair.

He yelled at me once because he thought I was patronizing him about his own experiences with the music festival industry. He bought me dinner once and was never short of polite with me however, so I can't say anything too bad about him. Just it's a shame I feel like I outgrew his own tastes.

Also I settled for Blackdown instead of trying to befriend Simon so frankly, I'm arguably worse at this behavior than Corpsey ever was.

    The sacred cows

I'm cruel to Corpsey because I'm familiar to him. We've been unintentionally repeatedly occupying the same internet musical spaces for running on a decade plus. I actually love Corpse like a friend I've never truly had.
