    Wuhan Killer Sneeze (thanks Tea)

So tests give us an increase in week x then an increasing number of people with sth else turn up in hospital two weeks later? What’s the link?

    Wuhan Killer Sneeze (thanks Tea)

A guy on twitter using the daily dashboard stats. I know there are issues with the tests but the trends are clear. The number of positive tests rise when the proportion of tests that are positive rise. Then, two weeks later, hospital admissions rise, with some adjustment for age. Also from...

    Record of the Year 2020

Think this might be my track of the year. Really makes me miss dancing. Which tbf I don’t do much of anymore due to my embarrassing age but still.

    Record of the Year 2020

This is mine I listened to this on a loop in early lockdown but I still like it now. Other than that I listened to a load of Weatherall stuff and pondered his age, my age now and my age when I first listened to Sabres of Paradise.

    The KLF

Also they deleted their entire back catalogue so the music isn't on Spotify or itunes and I assume they don't ever licence it for films, adverts etc. They were genuinely a really big deal in the early 90s but have managed to leave no trace.

I like this stuff a lot. The B12 album on Warp, Electro Soma was a favourite of mine, still is. Saw them perform it in Hackney Wick a couple of years ago and it was great

    Mid-tempo chug

Lots off late era Weatherall stuff is firmly in the mid tempo chug zone. A Love From Outer Space had a speed limit of 122bpm, so nothing ever got too fast. I like this one cos it’s chugging but has that elevating/ euphoric feeling I associate with faster tempos.

    UKG revival (again)

And even the change within years was staggering. Even if, say, you think it all went wrong in 95, that's a change that happened in one year...

    Worst songs you've ever heard?

You are right, there are no actual, nameable songs in that genre, just endless (5 hour mix!) private school 1920s cosplay 'adulting'
