Give it a try. I'd be interested in another opinion. It's 'cop' in a similar way to The Wire (but of couse nowhere near, blah blah) Coppola / Gene Hackman's The Conversation is another great cop-not-cop film incidentally, believe this was already bought up in a Noir thread
