I watched Lost Highway last night. Loved it. My only problem with it was the use of Marilyn Manson, Rammstein and Henry Rollins. Rollins didn't feel like a character, it was just Henry Rollins, and the Manson and Rammstein felt out of place. Just made me think of xXx or something.

I dunno about unreservedly recommend, but I watched John Boorman's The Emerald Forest on BBC2 last night. Great film, despite the ridiculous ending.

Arsenal must have been tearing their hair out. Can't stand Nolan or Barton. Thugs. I can't believe Nolan didn't get sent off for trying to put the Arsenal keeper in some sort of headlock in front of an official. Poor decision.

I watched Grave of the Fireflies last night. Heartbreaking story. It was refreshing to see an anime grounded in realism. I haven't seen a bad film by Studio Ghibli yet.

Finished Naked Lunch a few days ago. Finished Cat's Cradle today and started Apathy for the Devil earlier this afternoon. Really enjoyed both Naked Lunch and Cat's Cradle. Apathy for the Devil seems alright.
