re: bedford I think the general luton/bedford/mk area has always had an influence over the years, almost like a freak extension of north london - probably even more so with hertfordshire. Steve gurley from mk, and Macabre Unit (specifically producer k9/9ner) from bedford standing out immediately.

Great stuff, I was thinking of doing something like this myself, especially with so many fantastic but difficult to track down tunes around right now.

When I was still at school and had nothing else to record to I'd use VHS. It has an interesting sound quality, especially when the tracking goes out momentarily. Not sure why I posted that :confused:
