    record sale[s] on discogs

If you start buying/selling for investment reasons, you've lost it. Dante put people that collect rare vinyl and never play them in the 4th circle of hell IIRC.

    record sale[s] on discogs

According to discogs my collection of 25 years is worth more or less exactly what I gave for them (judging by median price). I guess that's an ok investment. Especially considering my bad habit of selling lots of records by iconic house and techno producers from the 80-90s and obv those records...

That's why I never dared starting selling. Those fussy collector types... no way am I going there.

    Video games

The invention of 1st person games is one of the reasons I got out of gaming in time. I mean who'd want such a totally conservative approach? I've got plenty of first perspective in my life already! The same with 3D or VR, completely redundant technologies.

Oh Zak McCracken and the Alien Mindbenders on the C64 brings up memories. There was some wierd muzak jams in it as well

    Surgeon

For a few years this was the sound of my youth and of every techno club in continental Europe at least.Perhaps this sound grew into a caricature years later, but he (Surgeon) was definately one of the defining figures establishing the real and final split between the trance/progressive house...

    Surgeon

Yeah, I've only heard him once I think. Way, way back '95 or something. I remember he arrived in a VIP Mercedes of something like a superstar. That was pure Millsian onslaught, though and a bit too much IIRC. I'm not that familiar with his DJing really. And I am not a Surgeon fan either, he's...

    Dissensus Raw Productions

I put up lo-fi sorta slowish techno loops in here for anyone interested (there's not a breakbeat in sight, this is pure 4/4 kick fetischism):

    Surgeon

He recently did some throwback style releases, which has the raw visceral power that's I miss in today's music. Only early Regis and Mick Harris stuff comes close to this

No, were not professionial/commercial-minded enough (like the Swedes) nor are we weird/inbred/goofy enough like the rest (Finland/Norway/Iceland)

    RIP SOPHIE

RIP. Obviously a real talent, although it's too grating for my ears. To me the authenticity or not debacle is to much part or just in your face in this sort of music. It forces you to think which I find slightly offensive. If I want cold clinical soul/no-soul music I'd stick to the Nordic...

Every Norwegian is basically a Nouveau Riche driving a Tesla "Powered by Nature", but really sponsored by the Oil Fund. Saudi Arabia with lighter skin, but equally long beards.

There's a hard social code in Denmark, but people stick to themselves for better or worse.

As a Dane I've nothing to say here, but I am pretty confident we are in every way and for obvious reasons better people than both the Swedes and the Norwegians. Finns are all right, though

The most pretentious label ever. They should emigrate to the US or dissolve into a Boomkat sublabel
