have you read it? i haven't... i am curious.... written by Harvey Pekar who was coming of age in Cleaveland during the beat era... i guess when he met r.crumb in the early 60's they were POST-BEATS... he did a similar book on the SDS and the Weathermen... may get that one first, as i am not...
