Re: Charlie Brooker, I enjoy his column from time to time, but don't bother with any of his TV pursuits as he just comes across as an utter bellend at pains to express his dislike or hate for something. Of course he does come out with some constructive stuff every now and then, but I'm not keen...

I'm probably a bit younger than yourself though, and always took it at face value because it was well past the period where trios were all the rage and all this mystical power of 3 etc business was going on. Maybe it was all a precursor to Jay Z & Nas's masonic conspiracy? :D

Works pretty perfectly for having a verse each on every song too, anda lot more variation in order & chemistry than a simple duo would provide. The one that always sticks in my head is Charizma rhyming about asking mom dukes for loot :)

A post pub/club box of 10 wings from Chicken Cottage does the job nicely.

I think you underestimate the Scottish winter ;) I'd like a nice down jacket but they're quite expensive and as you say, not so handy in the rain. I'd go for one of the Idiom numbers if I had £350 to spare, but sadly that's not the case. Anyhoo, if you can point me in the direction of the style...

Hmmmm. I'm not really crazy about the duffle/peacoat look, and much prefer a lighter jacket. Are sub £200 tech jackets pretty much a waste of time?

Anyone got any good recommendations for winter jackets? After a new warm waterproof to get me through another hellish Glasgow winter. Something of the North Face-ish variety, up to about £200 that'll look good on a small frame.
