Films you've seen recently and would unreservedly recommend:

I really liked Tzameti. you're right that the latter parts were somewhat predictable, but I found that the (immense) sense of tension was still there for me.

yeah, Primer's very good - though it did take me two viewings to even begin to understand the time travel. there's this illustration which is kind of neat. on a more general note, I've been reading through this thread, and it is really fantastic. so many fascinating suggestions.

    Record storage options

I had a 4x4 version of the Expedit a few years ago, and from what I remember, those shelves are fairly strong - I had a bunch of pretty heavy textbooks and they held up fine. another (safer?) option would be to put the unit on it's side so you end up using one of the thick walls to support the...

    this radiohead thing then.

    what you currently enjoying ?

not at all - I just recall reading in a few old threads (this is what I do for fun...) that you (strongly?) disliked that album. I suppose the extent of my enjoyment of it was at least in some part due to the fact that it was something completely new to me, as I hadn't been exposed to the...

    this radiohead thing then.

the Jaques (sp?) Greene and Caribou (yay Canada!) remixes were good. apparently so was the Nathan Fake one, but haven't heard it. the rest I thought ranged from poo to average. for example, the Lone / Pearson Sound ones are well produced and have many of their signature elements, but I would...

    Moscow contract kills

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/sep/23/russia-targeting-western-diplomats personal note: I used to do something very similar to an ex-housemate of mine (bigot, sexist, all around cunt) who, for several months, refused to pay me back the money I let him borrow. it did freak him out. maybe...
