Narcossist - he's just gone next level

one of the scenes most underrated producers, i find it bizarre that he isn't bigger given the techno crossover explosion in dubstep

    autotune. please don't

lol! i haven't seen it overused too much yet, so from my perspective its still quite an exciting sound. its so artificial. i think in the right context (and detached from it being rinsed) it has a lot of potential to create amazing music

    Funky/London/UK House

yeh wavs are certainly not to be sniffed at! but i would always prefer vinyl, especially when there are that number of sick tracks on there.

    Funky/London/UK House

but there is just as strong a precedent or tradition to have mic men in this background roll. hardcore, jungle, garage - mcs were hosts or toasters. house (which surely is or at least has been both black and street music) has always had a totally different 'voice'. given all of the chat...

    Minimal Tech, Electro etc

im very much into Bodycode, kind of a tribal, housey take on modern techno. this is sick, and thats well old. his live set is next level amazing. dont really think its minimal at all though, not even in association or any other sense. but still Corpsey i would recommend looking into...

    Grimey Violins

apparently Murdoch isn't even legally able to support him

    Politician with some principles?

    where did you hear that?

    Politician with some principles?

i do believe he is genuinely passionate about civil liberties (although this sits a touch strangely). it makes sense if he wanted to draw attention to the issue, and try to stimulate some engagement with it, although one might question the wisdom of belief that this will lead to a shift in...

i agree completely. im still yet to hear the LP though

    Dubstep

i love it, wasn't convinced originally but now i feel it a lot. so big and bashy, bass is completely ridiculous, and the vibe is crazed. amazing in the mix also but im with Corpsey in preferring his more g-funk influenced stuff, Retro Racer is still the one for me, cant wait for that to drop

    Funky/London/UK House

reliable in my experience, never had a problem with them re bpm, i think Apple's stuff is mid-130s, not certain though. don't know about anything else though that Circle thing is weak, fair play (i guess?!) if they want to retain certain vibes in the dances, but the musical conservatism is...

    Funky/London/UK House

im not sure whats happening with it, we're gonna be involved in a various things in London and Bristol this year but i think we might wait til the back end of the year before we do something there again im afraid. thanks for the interest! :)

    Funky/London/UK House

this Marcus Nasty show is absolutely massive, apart from Apple i hadnt connected to the sound yet, but im feeling this in a very substantial way http://www.sendspace.com/file/puq0b8 also, Tim F, sick article :) http://idolator.com/391655/peering-through-the-front-door-of-funky-house
