It's hard to take seriously this pseudo-karmic physical principle that you can't get more out than you put in; in this instance they're clearly using a backchannel or drawing extra karma from the surrounding environment.

The 17-year-old built the reactor to generate neutrons as part of his Extended Project Qualification. The reactor achieved plasma in June.
