Following the T. Williams EP is Local Action 002 - the debut EP by New York's Svpreme Fiend.
I've been obsessed with Svpreme's music since hitting him up for tunes in January or something - on the surface it's haunted 2step in the vein of Burial, but the more you listen the more you realise there's little else like it - skeletal drums, beautiful melodies, R'n'B and soul vocals bent into twisted, purgatorial shapes. Sketches of tracks that form and dissipate in front of your eyes.
The Killer EP collects 4 of his garage-leaning tracks - future stuff from Svpreme will be weirder, housier, sometimes beatless. But this is the perfect introduction.
