Laye Sow is one of the most exciting musicians to come out of Senegal.

Now living in the UK, he is up there with the 'best' list of talented African singers performing in the UK today. His music is woven with his Fula ethnic roots but takes his audience on a journey from acoustic songs from his village to the night clubs of Dakar where the rhythms of Salsa, Rap, Rhumba, Reggae and desert blues are played. Known for his acoustic album ‘Djamano’versatility his concerts reveal his true versatility and showmanship and will have many up on their feet dancing before the night is through.

Tim Gill
From Stroud, Gloucestershire, Tim first began his classical training in both viola and violin. Academic study provided the next stepping-stone in Tim’s musical progression, when he sought and achieved a BA Honours degree in Music at Oxford Brookes University..

It is, however, Tim’s live performances that have helped define him as such a uniquely creative musician. Whether layering pizzicato chords with the assistance of a loop pedal, building them into tremendous crescendos, or using subtleties of applied pressure on the bow to achieve a wealth of lush soundscapes, Tim has moved entire rooms to silence with his utterly captivating and highly emotive shows.
