i think a lot of the problem is timing. cos half the issue with these people is you've got to keep up with the output as it happens. that's half the fun. and for so long i was really just fixated upon dean blunt and no one else

Yeah, I've found that too. I'm either keeping up with everything or nothing at all. You can see it in the hip-hop threads on here. There used to be yearly ones with loads of activity then The Hip-Hop Never Stops and now we just have the New Rap one which isn't doing much.

its a difficult form to appreciate without a lot of context, and i've taken too long out. i'll have to start at the beginning to have a hope
