I'm assuming (perhaps wrongly) that when I started this thread in 2013 he was divisive mainly for being an arrogant loudmouth but not yet divisive for saying he loves Hitler
I do find figures like kanye, drake, trump, elon, etc. fascinating because they're rich and famous and still seem to be varying degrees of miserable, desperate for attention, desperate for acceptance, desperate for adulation, and it all plays out more publicly than ever with the internet
Perhaps nowadays we're all more attuned to this stuff because we're all potentially 'famous' (or famous) and exposed to public opinion via the internet, and we can understand the thrill of it and the hollowness of it for ourselves
