I was in a gqom whatsapp group for a while where they were all sharing music, there was this heavy-k one with a vocal that really stuck with me. Guess that's the sound he's been pushing for a while

ah i didn't know about that. i think it's what i was trying to say with this:

stumbled upon this mix and noticed vocals seem to have gotten more prominent in gqom, i like it a lot.

i hadn't checked any new stuff for a long time and it all feels a bit more smoother, more pop, accessible to a bigger audience. not necessarily a bad thing.
