Great picks Kid. I prefer the 90s version of Both Sides Now but otherwise perfect picks.

@linebaugh I also love "Electricity," that's my favorite ever

this airy open sound I also like, westcoast watercolour, edge of easy but the chorus gives it just enough weight, yeah I like the dan too so shoot me…

patchy affair ‘wild things..’, recent £3 pickup!

this here is a land of contrasts.... i kind of hate the electric guitar rock band show off for this song, especially when you look at the early live version of the song, but... his scream sing kind of works tho, its so emphatic and loud it brings a whole new authenticity and belief in the lyrics. i overall love the 1975 concerts but this song in particular has always confounded me.

dylan mentions lines from ginsberg, frost, and whitman, lines that are still remembered and quoted today. he then says that poets today dont connect to the public concioussness like they used to. is this true? why is it true? dylan then says that its singers now, lyrics are now what are remembered and quoted today. are they worthy of this?

to my point on hard rain, why did dylan feel such a need to do the big rock band for hard rain but not this song? hard rain wouldve been done much better stripped down like this

finally made it to joni. her interrogating this guy about why he distinguishes between male and female songwriters, "am i not in the same conversation as bob and leonard?"
