Terminator is actually DJ Gukwa but everyone bought south african tunes off afrodesiamp3 and it was on a dj cndo compilation on there, i think that's where the mislabelling came from. It's where people got most sdoko/clock etc from too

Really is mad to think that tune was released 14 years ago, and has re-emerged (almost organically) to be big in a completely different scene...... good to know things like that can still happen in music.

What was the song that sampled this? I played it back in the day in funky sets and i know i have it on my hard drive somewhere, but i can't for the life of me remember what the title is.

I think I remember back in the day trying to get this track and some other early fuzzy logik stuff on digital and having no luck, but it was getting hammered so much at the time. Was it ever properly released digitally?

I got the promo CD single of "In The Morning" a few weeks ago, it was £5 which isn't a lot of money really - but more than you would expect for a flimsy promo of a song released in the digital era.

I do like this phenomenon of old tunes getting picked up and transmitted into new genres. Also the idea that a single tune could be the basis for an entire genre if it was sufficiently fetishised.
